I am just so glad that I did the circle of mom support group. First of all, it was so healthy for me to get out of the house, which is a challenge with a newborn! I had a safe place to go, where no one cares if your baby screams the whole time and you can breastfeed on demand, while getting really helpful tips from other mommies going through the EXACT same things as you are. It really got me through those first six weeks. I am also glad I chose The Tulip Grove, it has such a close community of moms, we are all still meeting up at parks, for happy hours and emailing looking for nanny leads! (Posted on 4/30/10)

I thought the circle of moms support group was a fantastic way to meet other new moms and have a support system for the transition to new motherhood. Also, I became part of the Tulip Grove community, which was great and supportive as well. I am still in touch with all the moms from my group 1.5 years later and we see each other fairly often.
