Knowing that your infant or child is safe in the care of each parent, grandparent and caregiver because each one has the skills to recognize and react to an emergency is invaluable. The Tulip Grove Infant/Child CPR certification class is based on the latest American Heart Associate program for injury prevention, how to recognize and treat respiratory and cardio-pulmonary emergencies, and how to relieve choking. Hands-on practice will provide you with the skills and confidence to turn a life-threatening situation into a lifesaving one. We recommend taking this course before baby arrives, but the class covers care for children up to age 8, and can be taken when you need to refresh your skills.

Using basic American Sign Language (ASL), you and your baby will learn words that you can use everyday in daily routines such as: feeding, diaper changing, and sleep time.
