Are you ready? Because right after the birth comes breastfeeding and our Lactation Consultants will give parents the confidence needed to get started with breastfeeding as soon as baby is ready. Our Signature 5 Steps to Success with breastfeeding is the quick and easy path to prepare parent for the joys and benefits to nursing the little one. Designed for expectant parents around the fifth month of pregnancy (yes, partners are encouraged to participate).
We’ll cover:
* The benefits of breastfeeding
* The basics of milk production
* Supply and demand
* Latching and positioning
* Avoiding and treating common breastfeeding predicaments
* Responding to hunger and fullness cues
* Frequency and durations of feedings
* Breastfeeding gear
Saturdays 10:30-12:00pm.
The Tulip Grove classes are non-refundable. However, if a cancellation is necessary we require a 48 hour notification for store credit.
